Terms of Use

1. What Clouzy Is

Clouzy shows you the weather where the people you connect with are, and lets you send each other friendly reminders (umbrella, coat, water). It is a companion, not a safety or emergency service. Weather data comes from Apple WeatherKit and can be delayed or inaccurate; always check an official source before making decisions that depend on the weather.

2. Your Account

• You sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your Apple account secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Clouzy.
• One account per person. Don’t impersonate anyone or use a name that misleads your friends.
• You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab. This removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Connecting With People

• Connections are mutual. Sharing your code, or accepting someone’s, means you both agree to see each other’s name, city, weather and reminders.
• Only share your code with people you know and trust.
• You can remove a connection at any time, and they stop seeing you immediately.

4. Acceptable Use

Clouzy exists to look after people. Please don’t use it to:

• Harass, spam or repeatedly send reminders to someone who has asked you to stop.
• Track or monitor someone without their knowledge or consent.
• Access the service through automated means, reverse-engineer it, or interfere with its operation.
• Break any applicable law.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

5. Notifications and Location

Reminders arrive as push notifications, and your city is derived from your device location. Both depend on permissions you grant in iOS, and you can revoke them anytime in Settings. Without them, parts of Clouzy won’t work as intended.

6. Price

Clouzy is currently free. If we ever introduce paid features, we will say so clearly in the app before you are charged, and any purchase will go through Apple’s App Store under its terms.

7. Our Content and Yours

The Clouzy name, mascot, design and code belong to us. You keep ownership of anything you enter (like your display name) and give us permission to use it only to run the service for you and your connections.

8. Availability and Liability

We work hard to keep Clouzy running, but it is provided “as is”. We can’t promise it will always be available or that weather data will always be right. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on the app, from someone getting wet, or from service interruptions. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under your local law.

9. Ending Things

You can stop using Clouzy and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice inside the app.

10. Changes to These Terms

If we change these terms, we update the date at the top and let you know inside the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Clouzy after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
